ABOUT THE EVENT
Elev8 is a 6-month, hands-on program designed to equip university students with the skills to create, develop, and implement socially impactful projects in their communities. Through mentorship and collaborative teamwork, participants will transform ideas into real-world projects, making a tangible difference.

Program Breakdown
1. Skill-Building
The foundation of the program, where participants receive training in project management, including tools and techniques to lead and execute a project.
2. Idea Development
Participants work on refining their project ideas and goals, developing early prototypes with their teams and mentors.
3. Implementation
Over a 6-month period, students bring their ideas to life, tackling real challenges and creating meaningful change.
4. Reporting
The final phase involves measuring project impact, reflecting on outcomes, and planning for continued leadership and growth.
Workshops
Participants will attend three workshops that focus on:
Project Management Basics: Held on October 26th, this workshop covers the essentials of managing a project from start to finish.
Advanced Project Tools: On November 2nd, participants will learn about budgeting, planning, and execution.
Idea Creation & Mentorship: Also on November 2nd, teams will meet their mentors and develop their project ideas into early-stage prototypes

Participants can choose to work on projects related to one of these key areas:
Mentorship & Support
Each team will receive guidance from experienced mentors, encouraging creative problem-solving and resilience. The emphasis is on adapting approaches to challenges while keeping the original goal in sight.
Celebrating Success
At the end of the program, participants’ achievements will be celebrated, and guidance will be provided for future leadership opportunities. Every participant will receive a certification, recognizing both their professional and personal growth throughout the program.
